Theseus: Directory of Services changes all that and has been designed from the ground-up with the user experience in mind. It’s ideal for social prescribing, local offer initiatives and health and care self-help.
Directory records can be browsed in an engaging card view, accompanied with imagery and key attributes, or via an interactive map for exploring assets nearby or further afield.
Better Service Directory Filtering
The directory is fronted with an elegantly simple wizard to match audiences and their needs with local services and resources.
It’s optimised for use on smartphones, is compatible with screen-readers and has clear iconography to assist individuals with English as a second language.
Unlike other directories, the filter options applied are presented as a ‘conversational’ sentence in plain English. The results can be easily updated by selecting the attribute in the conversational sentence:
I’m looking for walking groups, suitable for people over 65, near my location.
The approach ensures audiences always understand the filters they have in place and how to update them – even if they have less developed digital skills.
Partner Providers Profiles and Referrals
It’s easy for providers to create engaging profiles in our service directory. Providers can upload profile images, pin their location on a map and categorise their service or activity with tags.
They can also choose how they would like to accept referrals, including secure online referrals directly via the service directory.
A dedicated dashboard is provided for providers to manage the referrals they receive and report outcomes. The interface is fully responsive for ease of use away from desk-based environments on tablets and phones.

Citizens can share their location (or their postcode) to view things in their locality or further afield. Records can be sorted by nearest first and viewed on an interactive map.
